Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the Hybrid Battery Test application ("the App") published by Bulpara Teknoloji Limited Şirketi ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

1. What the App does

The App connects to a Toyota hybrid (currently the Prius 2004–2015) through an OBD-II adapter you supply, reads values the car's hybrid battery computer reports, and shows them with a verdict and an optional certificate. It sends read-only requests only: it never writes to the car, clears codes or changes the battery fan.

2. An informational test, not a diagnosis

Please read this section carefully.

• Block voltages, internal resistance and stress counters are the car's own measurements. The verdicts ("healthy", "weak blocks", "failing", "incomplete") compare them against reference values and are informational estimates. Until the reference is confirmed against real cars, results are marked "provisional".
• The App is not a Toyota diagnosis, not a battery inspection, and not a warranty determination.
• Readings depend on the car, the adapter, the battery's temperature and state of charge, and whether the pack is resting or working. They can be incomplete or wrong.
• A test reflects the moment it was read. It is not a promise of remaining battery life.

Don't rely on the App alone when buying, selling or repairing a car. Get a professional inspection where it matters.

3. Using the App safely

• Only test a car you own or have permission to test.
• Test while parked, in READY. Don't drive during the test or the load step.
• Place the adapter and any cable so they don't interfere with the pedals or your driving.

4. Purchases

The App is free to download. Lifetime ($14.99 in the US) and Shop ($34.99 in the US) are one-time, non-consumable in-app purchases (prices vary by country), billed through the App Store. They are not subscriptions. You can restore them on any device signed in with the same Apple ID. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

6. Intellectual property

The App is owned by Bulpara Teknoloji Limited Şirketi and protected by copyright. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for its intended purpose. Battery signal definitions come from OBDb under CC BY-SA 4.0 and from prius-dash (© 2026 adamivar, MIT licence).

Toyota, Prius, RAV4 and Camry are trademarks of Toyota Motor Corporation. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Toyota.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT READINGS OR VERDICTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE, OR THAT THE APP WILL WORK WITH EVERY CAR OR ADAPTER.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BULPARA INC IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSSES FROM BUYING, SELLING, PRICING OR REPAIRING A VEHICLE BASED ON THE APP'S READINGS OR CERTIFICATES, OR FROM ADAPTER HARDWARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Changes will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
