Privacy Policy

Hybrid Battery Test ("the App") is published by Bulpara Teknoloji Limited Şirketi ("we", "us", "our"). In short: we don't collect any data. The App has no account, no servers, no analytics and no ads.

1. What the App reads from your car

Through your OBD-II adapter, the App reads the car's VIN (to learn the model year) and, from the hybrid battery computer, each block's voltage and internal resistance, pack voltage, pack current, state of charge and the battery's stress counters. It only sends read requests. It never writes to the car, clears codes or changes the battery fan.

These readings are processed on your iPhone and are never sent to us or anyone else.

2. What the App stores on your iPhone

• Saved cars and tests: the nickname you give a car, its VIN, model and model year, the adapter's name, and the raw values of each test with its date. Stored locally with SwiftData.
• Preferences: whether you've seen the introduction, and an identifier for the last adapter you used.
• Shop profile (Shop unlock only): your shop's name, phone and logo, for certificates.
• Purchase status: managed by Apple's StoreKit.

Deleting a car in the App deletes its tests. Deleting the App deletes everything.

3. Permissions

Bluetooth: used only to find and connect to your OBD-II adapter. Apart from remembering the last adapter you used, the App doesn't keep any record of Bluetooth devices.

Photos: only if you add a shop logo, and only the image you pick.

4. Certificates and exports

Certificates (PDF) and CSV exports are created on your iPhone and go wherever you choose in the share sheet. We don't see them. A personal certificate shows a partly hidden VIN. A Shop certificate shows the full VIN and the customer name you type, and a CSV export lists full VINs.

5. Third parties

Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store and are covered by Apple's privacy policy. The App uses no other third-party services.

6. Children

The App doesn't collect personal data from anyone, including children.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
